Last week, Bushmills Irish Whiskey announced the addition of BUSHMILLS REDBUSH to their award-winning portfolio of malt-rich, exceptionally smooth triple distilled blends and single malts. The amber spirit offers intense aromas of toasted oak and vanilla with hints of caramel and nutty flavors for a subtle sweet yet balanced finish.
With St. Patrick’s Day drawing closer, people get more and more eager to enjoy delicious cocktails, while celebrating the occasion. Corresponding to that, Bushmills Irish Whiskey created a refreshing new recipe, using their latest addition the Bushmills Red Bush. Interestingly, it does not take many ingredients for this wonderful creation.
Bushmills Red Bush Irish Old Fashioned
1.5 oz Bushmills Red Bush
2 dashes Dead Rabbit Orinoco Bitters
1 tsp Honey Syrup
1 dash Lemon Oils
Method: Pour over ice (preferably 1 large cube), gently stir and garnish with an orange twist
For all those, however, who do not want to stay at home, but want to go out and party (which is definitely the right thing to do on the upcoming weekend!), you still can enjoy the unique cocktail. It is available at NYC’s legendary Irish pub Swift Hibernian Lounge (34 E 4th St) for $12.
Of course, the whiskey is not only appropriate for St.Patrick’s Day. The special flavor is suitable for a nice cozy evening, a get-together with friends or maybe even your next dinner party. Whatever the occasion, if you are already a whiskey fan or you want to try something new, Bushmills Red Bush is an absolute must.
